2027 Forms Update
with Attorney Damien Zumbrennen
3 CE Credits
** In-Person Only **
The 2027 Commission-approved forms include a significant number of changes, and some go well beyond simple wording updates.
In this 3-hour course, attorney Damien Zumbrennen will focus on the substantive changes brokers need to understand, with an emphasis on what changed, how the updated forms should be used, and the legal and practical considerations behind those changes.
The course takes a closer look at changes involving brokerage relationships and disclosures, transaction-brokerage agreements, compensation, the new Brokerage Duties to Buyer (No Compensation) form, Inspection Resolution, Lead-Based Paint disclosures, Post-Closing Occupancy Agreements, promissory notes, short-sale addenda, Source of Water Addendum, objection notices, and other updated Commission-approved forms.
Throughout the class, Damien will also discuss proper form usage, drafting considerations, and real-world examples that illustrate potential problems and liabilities for brokers.
This class is designed to go beyond identifying what changed. The focus is on understanding what those changes mean and how to properly apply them in your transactions.
